MOSCOW - At least 10 people were killed and 20 wounded insuicide bomb blast at Moscow's Domodedovo airport on Monday,Interfax news agency reported.
Moscow police checked the subway and other places where large numbers of people gather to try to prevent the possibility of a follow-on attack, Interfax quoted an unnamed source.
The airport is the busiest of the three to serve the Russian capital.
Sergei Markin, Investigation Committee, confirmed reports of an explosion, The Associated Press, but said he had no furtherdetails.
Russian news agencies quoted an unspecified source as sayingthe blast occurred in the international arrivals hall airport and thatno casualties.
Moscow suffered the worst attacks in six years in March 2010when two female suicide bombers from the Russian region of Dagestan flare set off explosives in the metro, killing 40 people.
